In January, more than 100 Florida-based alumni, alumnae, parents, and friends attended engaging and informative Presidential Luncheons in Bonita Springs and West Palm Beach, FL. Check out photos and video from the event below.

Rensselaer President Shirley Ann Jackson, Ph.D. kicked off the festivities with an update on the state of the Institute, sharing how Rensselaer as The New Polytechnic is leading the way in education, research, and technological innovation. Dr. Jonathan Dordick, Special Advisor to the President for Strategic Initiatives, provided a Faculty Research Update, followed by an overview by Dr. Peter Konwerski, Vice President for Student Life, on Clustered Learning, Advocacy, and Support for Students (CLASS), a comprehensive and award winning approach to student learning and living at Rensselaer  Three Rensselaer students then shared their unique experiences with CLASS. Nya Jackson ’19, Geetika Verma ’21, and Gino Gasbarro ’18, ’19G “wowed” attendees with their individual perspectives on the transformative opportunities and activities CLASS afforded them as Rensselaer students.

All proceeds from this event supported scholarships for Rensselaer students.
