OLUWAPAMILERIN AMUDA ’25 

When Oluwapamilerin Amuda ’25 was applying to colleges, he learned that only one student from his high school had ever been accepted to RPI. His high school advisor believed that he could be the next one. This faith in Amuda’s potential inspired him to apply, earn his bachelor’s degree in 2025, and ultimately pursue an MBA at RPI in fall 2025.

Amuda began his academic journey focused on computer science before transitioning to a business management major, which was a better fit for his interests. He’s made the most of every step in his RPI journey, from helping build a website for NASA, to identifying artificial intelligence solutions for non-profits as an intern with the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC), to interning with Amazon to gain hands-on experience in operations management.

Yet it’s the community he’s experienced that stands out to Amuda the most. He credits RPI’s tight-knit, open, and friendly community as his favorite thing about RPI, as well as the professors who are always ready to help. These meaningful connections extend to Sigma Phi Epsilon, where Amuda served as president and found community among his fraternity brothers.

The eldest of five children, Amuda knows that he “sets the foundation” and helps his siblings see what’s possible. In being accepted to RPI and receiving a generous financial aid package, which was “a dream come true” for him and his family, Amuda has set an example of leadership and perseverance for others to follow.
